What does Ellie do well?
Ellie is the closest product to ReplyPen’s first step. Once you connect Gmail or Outlook, it reads new email, sorts it into categories you describe in plain words, and writes a draft reply in the thread within minutes, in the style it learned from your sent mail. It can crawl your website or help center and look up values from files you upload. Roles give different kinds of email their own tone and knowledge, and a browser extension and Outlook add-in cover replies on demand.
How do Ellie and ReplyPen prices compare?
Ellie charges a fixed monthly price per team: its pricing page lists Business at €35 a month with up to 100 replies a day and Professional at €75 with no daily limit. ReplyPen charges €0.25 for each conversation in which you use its Draft, and nothing for the rest, with every feature included.
Ellie Business costs the same as 140 ReplyPen conversations a month. If your team answers more than that every month, Ellie’s plan can cost less. If your volume varies, or a busy day should not run into a daily limit, paying per conversation keeps the bill tied to the work. See ReplyPen pricing.
Where does ReplyPen differ for customer email?
ReplyPen is built around the questions customers ask a business. Every Draft comes with a Check note that lists the help articles, website pages and past emails it used, so you can check an answer before it goes out. When you edit a Draft, ReplyPen notes what changed and keeps it in the Knowledge log, in plain language you can read and correct. Like Ellie, ReplyPen sends nothing on its own today. Auto-send for the kinds of email you choose with a Rule is coming in a later version, off until you switch it on.
