What does Macha do well?
Macha works on top of the helpdesk a support team already uses, with its deepest roots in Zendesk. Its AI can reply as an internal note, as a draft in the editor or automatically, follow the persona and answer rules you set, and read live documents in Google Docs, Notion and Confluence. Every plan includes unlimited seats and Macha’s own team to build, test and monitor the setup, which suits a support team that wants automation without doing the setup itself.
How do Macha and ReplyPen prices compare?
Macha sells monthly ticket bundles: its pricing page lists $299 for up to 750 tickets, rising to $3,999 for 10,000, and everything pauses when the month’s tickets run out. ReplyPen charges €0.25 for each conversation in which you use its Draft, and nothing for the rest.
For 100 customer conversations a month, ReplyPen costs €25 and Macha’s smallest plan costs $299. At 750 a month, ReplyPen costs €187.50. See ReplyPen pricing.
Do you need a helpdesk to use ReplyPen?
No. ReplyPen connects to the Gmail or Outlook mailbox you already answer from, including a shared address like support@, and puts a Draft in the thread of each customer email. The Check note under the Draft lists what it used, and you send the reply from your own inbox, on your computer or your phone.
