What is a Draft in ReplyPen?

In ReplyPen, a Draft is the ready-to-send reply ReplyPen writes for a customer email that needs an answer. It appears as a normal draft in the same Gmail or Outlook thread, on your laptop and on your phone. Nothing reaches the customer until a person reads it, edits it if needed, and sends it.

Outside ReplyPen, a draft is simply an email that has not been sent yet. ReplyPen writes its Draft with a capital D because it is the thing the product delivers: one per customer email that needs a reply, written in the customer’s language, from your own sources.

Why it matters

Because a Draft is an ordinary email draft, there is no new inbox to learn. You open the customer’s email, the reply is already there, and you decide what happens to it. That keeps a person in the loop (human in the loop) while removing most of the typing.

Each Draft comes with a Check note that lists what it relied on, so checking it takes seconds. If it is off, give Feedback such as “too long” and regenerate it, or edit it and send; ReplyPen learns from the change.

An example

A customer asks whether they can still change their delivery address. Opening the thread, you find a Draft that says yes, as long as the order has not shipped, and explains how. You send it as it is.

Where Drafts appear and what else you can do with them: the inbox.
